Becki Peden was hired in August 2022 as Treasurer/CFO of the Waverly City School District. As Waverly City Schools' Treasurer/CFO, Mrs. Peden works with the Central Office staff and the Board of Education to provide financial leadership for the district. Mrs. Peden and her staff are responsible for all fiscal operations of the District, including, but not limited to banking, investments, budgeting/appropriations, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax receipts, bond issues, financial reporting, financial policy development, and Board minutes.

Becki Pedan began her school career in 1999 as the Assistant to the Treasurer of the Waverly City School District, before moving into the role of Treasurer/CFO in 2003. From 2012 to July 2022, she was the Treasurer/CFO of the Huntington Local School District. Mrs. Peden returned to Waverly in August 2022. She and her husband, Ken, have two daughters, Ayla, a junior at Waverly High School, and Sloane, who attends Head Start at the Pike County YMCA. Mrs. Peden is a graduate of Waverly High School and Ohio University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
